Lodi Steam Engine 1968 Celebration

Children are shown here enjoying the steam engine that was on display for the city of Medina’s Sesquicentennial celebration in June of 1968. The steam engine was on display along with the city’s oldest fire engine, a 1918 model, a full size Agena rocket and a Cessna 150 airplane. The steam engine was locally owned by Lodi, Ohio resident Clyde Whitmore. The man blowing the horn in the picture is engineman Hobe Chapman.
